Build Already....Gosh!

Just about every couple of days either Chad or I will drive our soon to be home to see if they have started. Much to our disappointment nothing has happened. I mean really, we have picked out EVERYTHING you can think of and they haven't started! I told the man that would be our house all the time, that he just needed to pick up it a little and get this going. I had to remind him that I AM JODEE LYNN MELTON! Once I told him who I was he said, "You're who?" Just kidding! We are hoping they will break ground next week....at least that is what they told us. So we will see! We do have a SOLD sign in our lot! Woohoo!!!!!!

BUILDING a HOUSE!!!!!!!

Tuesday, around 4:30 we signed our lives away! HAHA! Not really! But we signed the papers to start building a house. Here is our lot!

The house will be 3 bedroom 2 bath. The floor plan is an open floor plan. Basically the kitchen, dining room and living room is one big "open" area. The 2 bedrooms and 1 bath are on one side of the house and the master bedroom is on the other side. It will even have a laundry room with a DOOR!!!!!!!! I can't wait to be able to shut the door while the laundry is being washed and dried and not hear it.




We are really excited. The plan is be in around the first or second week of June. We are hoping for the first so Chad will be here before the first mission trip.
YEAH for a new house!!!!
