Football and First Sunday!

Saturday we had some friends from Midland come up and they had tickets to the game. We (Chad and I) didn't have tickets, but we did go and eat some really good food with them at a tailgate party before the game. Kim, Bear, John, and Big John all had tickets. Jane, Chad and I came home watched the football game from our apartment but heard the drum the WHOLE time during the game.

Total shock at the end of the game! TOTAL shock!
And Saturday night was time change day. We have no idea what happen but we were planning on being at church at 8am and actually woke up at 8am. Alarms went off and they were all an hour behind. Youth on Sunday's doesn't start till 9:30 but he wanted to be there early to get it all set up. Anyways...Chad left the apartment in about 4 minutes and ran out the door. I finished getting ready and then headed to church. The Mehringers came at 9:20. After youth and big church we went to eat. We actually brought it home and ate here, then the Mehringers headed back to Midland. It was fun to have them here. After all the times we've just shown up at their house and invited ourselves over to eat or whatever. It was fun for them to be here.
Sunday afternoon, Jennifer Beal came by to see us! They were in town for the game and to see family. She was here for a little bit. But it sure was good to see her!
Sunday night at church we got "pounded." Tons of canned goods, cake mixes, brownies and on and on! Our whole table is covered in the food that we brought home. We also got gift cards to United!

I'm sorry about your Longhorns. I was going to call and talk trash but I figured that more times than not Texas will win so I should just be happy in my own little world! :)

I remember the house warming gifts. They were awesome!!
